Social Studies

Literature Arts
Our Literature Arts program at Highland Park Christian Academy provides students with a rich and diverse literary experience. Our curriculum is designed to foster a love for reading and writing, as well as develop students' critical thinking and communication skills. Biblical Studies
At Highland Park Christian Academy, we strive to provide an education that is focused on developing a strong Christian faith. Our bible curriculum is designed to provide students with a biblical foundation for their lives. The Association for Christian Schools International's eight-level Purposeful Design Publications Bible textbook series provides multiple opportunities for students to choose to follow Jesus and develop a personal relationship with Him. Students will learn how to apply biblical truth to their lives as they memorize Scripture and learn about Christlike character.
HPCA utilizes the Abeka preschool curriculum, which features a traditional approach to teaching and learning, cross-subject integration, spiral review, and plenty of hands-on activities.
